High of 8.6C today at 12:45, but now down to 1.8C with snow falling and grassy surfaces turning white again

Wasn't expecting this as temps, although having taken a plunge from 8.2c late afternoon to 2c/1.4c currently, it appears that we have a sleety mix falling now.

Pishy wet day never really cleared up. Temperature maxed out at 8.5 deg.C and 11.8mm of rain has fallen today so far. Pressure now at 1006.1hPa steady. Wind has dropped to nothing.

1.2c/0.6c.   Heavier dandruff type snow now.  Still, all unexpected offerings greatly received!

I believe there is an ice warning out for overnight?

Amazing the difference across the central belt, it's still nearly 7c here with moderate to heavy rain! Enjoy! Another ice rink in the morning looking likely.

Once this freezes it could be carnage! Garden sensor down to 0.2c.

Looks like it’s just been a 2 day milder snap and back into the colder weather. The last couple of winters it’s been the other way about.

Yep, we ran out of that about 2 mins ago!  Picked up a dusting on the grass, cars etc, but not lying on the roads or pavements.
