Been snowing heavily on and off for the last couple of hours....daughter will finally get her snowman

Just goes to show...the most technically advanced and scientific monitoring method is to look out of the window and use your eyes.

Covered here and snowing again. Was fuming with the Radar then I realised it was broke

It’s been snowing here now for a good 20mins, and coming in heavy again now after easing up a little.

Wish the radar would start working trust it to stop working at the most interesting part of the cold spell . The last image showed so big showers heading this way

At least the park won't be green now 

I'm going to drive the wife up to work (Greencroft, Stanley) and see how much they've got up there now. She said there was a couple of inches when she left work last night.

Hey guys, looks like a better start this morning. I have some stuff to drop off at our solicitors. Can anyone update on road conditions up Stanley way? Need to travel from Whickham to Durham, usually go to Stanley and down into Durham that way.

Snowed here now for probably an hour, maybe a little more. Looking at the radar, snowboarding down the golf course looks like it could be a possibility later today
