Well I didn’t think I would be back here so early and I wish I wasn’t lol.

But this is an exceptional Northerly for April.

saying that snow wise it don’t look good for us. It’s a shame the flow isn’t a straight northerly.
let’s hope it’s quick sharp gone so we can get back to the nice sun we’ve been having.

Morning all!

Awake at 03:20, with heavy snow falling (looked like rain had come through first as the road was soaked). Snowed for a good 30mins, then fizzled out.

Started again around 04:20, but a snow/graupel mix and that only lasted around 10 mins.

Have a covering here, but nothing to shout about, and temperature is bang on zero.

Hi everyone, a few snow showers passing through tonight apparently, don't think it will be anything to write home about but those higher up may wake up to a covering

Woke up to a covering this morning and it was froze solid. Looking like a nice day now but it's bitter cold.

I've got a feeling that we could have a slight covering by the morning, hopefully its the last of it I'm ready for gardening.  Looking forward to the snow chase later this year and fingers crossed we are in a spell of a few decent winters!

Unbelievable here we have measurable snow here. A few CM on cars and a covering on every surface. To the wood we go

Another significant snowfall must be the last today surely.
Heavy snow for past couple of hours on and off, brightening up now but still freezing.
About two inche on the ground similar to yesterday

Wouldn't normally be back on here till November but wow, as seabreeze says, Redcar really has taken a small battering! Few centimetres laid which is incredible for April 11th!!

Can’t believe what I’ve woken up to here in Middlesbrough! Wasn’t expecting to be back on here so soon!

Unreal isn’t it , melting fast as you would expect now but probably one of the best falls in spring ever here

I have seen similar and more in early May, there is usually the odd day in April but there have been several and extreme low temperatures too this time.

Just seen this on Twitter, mental! I actually woke up at 7ish but went back to sleep wish I had looked out of the window then! Got up around 9 and couldn’t quite believe it.
