Last night forecasts were showing it just glancing Aberdeen, now it must be 100 miles further west.

Met office now going for heavy snow here from 11 looks like it will be earlier than that. This is reminiscent of a event that happened in 2010 when nothing was forecast and coastal area got slow moving snow showers

Well, I wasn’t expecting that! They look heavy and slow moving, will be good for whoever gets them.

They seem to have slowed right down over the last 30mins... somewhere is going to get a pasting!

Early morning showers have given a decent top up here and more on the way by the looks of it.

I’m right on the border at the moment, everywhere north and west of me looks like it’s getting this shows but I have had another cm or 2 overnight.

I don’t want to jinx it but the big showers seem to be heading this way...

Fingers crossed. I fear I may be too far in land but the coastal areas and northumberland look to be in the firing line of some beefy showers.

The angle of the showers, there development as they move closer to land tells me any coastal regions plus up to 15 miles inland from NYM to Berwick will get something decent from this over next 4/6 hoursm

If nothing changes, I think we’ll be ok
