@Phil Blake @P-M looks like that big one we were hoping would come through our way is going to head through Northumberland

I've reserved you a spot on the Steering Committee.

Spent the last 3 hours sledging with the kids, looking at the radar but to be honest feel like I can’t even guess where they are going to end up

It's really hard predicting where the showers are heading. They are changing direction and constantly changing shape.

My weather app ( I know they are crap) has said that darlo has remained at -1 throughout the day so far. Can anyone confirm that if so could be an ice day incoming.

it looks like the winds have switched to a more easterly direction now. Those big blobs look nailed on for Tyne & Wear, now headed towards Alnwick way.

Managed a bit graupel with that shower that skimmed past me. Gateshead in the distance has disappeared under whiteness. Maybe something just behind heading for CLS

Very heavy snow here in Newton Aycliffe.

Just had thundersnow too ❄️❄️❄️

That's one of the best videos for snow I think I've ever seen. Wouldn't look out of place at the great lakes.

Looking more easterly now... I’m hoping that if it is then we’ll get the blue circle, but if it stays NE we’ll get the red circle...

I'm hoping the bottom end of the blue circle will hit me but it's anyone's guess at the minute.

I wouldn't be so sure lol. As long as there is enough to take kids sledding after work
