Heavy snow shower here now and going off the amount on cars that were clear last night, had about 2 inches overnight in Hexham. Heading home today where I’m expecting around 18-20 inches.

Fantastic to wake up and read the comments in here - it would seem the majority in here have now joined the party and got their snow.

More to come as well by the look of it and shouldn't be going anywhere fast by the look of the temps over the coming days - plenty of sledging time for the kids which should just get better by the day with ice forming.

Another couple of CMs here overnight to add what fell yesterday.

About the same here but plenty more coming looking at the radar. Different wind direction today to we will end up with different amounts

It has gone extremely dark just to the east mind and again, very little wind so this could be a decent shower

Yes. Probably another 2 inches on top of what we had - so about 4 altogether. Looks like that's it after today for this spell, though. Mild by Monday according to meto. Cold one tonight. Might be hard getting to a sledging spot today given roads.

Yeah next hour looking good, shower coming now looks like a small one the one behind it looks miles better
