As long as there is beer in my fridge

As long as there's echoes  on the radar

As long as those echoes are Pink on the netweather radar

As long as I can keep my eyes open

I will keep on the chase for snow coz I'm daft - thats what my missus says

and when I look outside at my trusty lamp post it has starting snowing - gettin

Let's be honest - while some many have a nice line headed for them, any objective look at that N Sea can only conclude that as it stands, it is really poor. Think back to E'lies and NE'lies where it was packed and it was very hard to avoid a good dumping. Or Scotland today. Hope it improves during the night, but, personal luck aside, that is not a good radar return.

Sorry mate, this is the Far North and North East of England thread, I live 18 miles from the Scottish Border so you can't get much further north in England than that!

If the thread was purely North East England it would say so.

See my post above, Andy - I agree. Maybe it's been SO poor that that is now taken as being in some sense a good radar. But it really isn't atm.

Until what time are we supposed to be in the firing line? Because as recent nights have made painfully clear, it takes ages for stuff to come in, and there's comes a point when you look at the radar, which is pants, and realise that's basically it, with no time for anything else to form that can hit you before morning.

I wouldn't be staying up late, more of a get up early situation I think.

Agree with the 2nd bit, not the first. Most of the return is empty and 80% of areas are in line for nothing or very little (AS IT STANDS).
