Sat24 has been showing showers out to sea for the past few days - once they start getting close to shore, they start to dissipate unfortunately - unless it's the Scottish coast .

Sorry but that meh has some beefy showers.

Snowing again here and has been most of today.

The meh bit is between those two areas which you seem to be under.

Another warning issued for Thursday into Friday for more snow showers...

Those showers over S Scotland will head our way overnight, so sure you will see something lol

Actually that looks rather promising, looks like there's a long line of showers starting off quite far out.

I've been through the fine mesh models and this is when each of the models believe the Border streamer will shift it's attention to us snow starved people.

IMF 1am Wednesday
ICON-EU 2am Wednesday
WRF 0.05 3am Wednesday
Aperge 4am Wednesday
GFS 0.25 4am Wednesday
WRF 2km 6am Wednesday
Euro 4 6am Wednesday

Yes but which Wednesday?

Wednesday 8th February 2022 perhaps?

Looks like there's a big dollop heading straight for you. I was tracking it but it's too far South for me.

Yeah, I'm watching that with fingers & toes crossed!

Still plenty of miles for them to dissolve in to nothing! What we need is a jetty, a very long jetty.

I've had one flurry all day here in the gap of doom - very disappointing IMBY, Can't help feeling envious of top of Northumberland which looks like its getting dumped on especially Boulmer to Berwick, Is there any members in that area that can confirm this?

They certainly weren't forming that far out as shown above, there was a mass of cloud covering a huge part of the North sea hindering shower development, that looks nothing like yesterdays Sat24

For a laugh, scroll back on the radar to 13:25. That is what it feels like here!

My auntie in Belford has confirmed they have quite a bit but not as much as Wooler.

Which areas are due to get the better snow tonight? i cant see anything other than the showers we have all been having?

The streamer currently over the borders is forecast to move into our region early hours of tomorrow, where it ends up is anyone's guess.
