Think I'll watch TV...  fed up with the watching the weather  radar,  certainly fed up with 'graupel'

BTW I've noticed  graupel is an anagram of lager up ...

I think there's a hidden message in that ...

Cheers

You can see the intensity fading away on the radar for the NE, shocking

For you they are but not the Tyne valley and Northumberland. They are getting heavier and lasting longer.

There has to be decent showers to begin with. None here. Oh wait I've just 2 minutes of light snow. Result

This zone has been where the disappointment lies, showers lighter and fewer.

Tuesday night we see a better set up as the wind turns more northeasterly and a convergence zone moves through our region, basically the one thats in southern Scotland now.

The hill dwellers win again

Its just really frustrating. This spell for the majority will go down as a standard winter affair. 1 day of decent snow showers (if Wednesday delivers the goods) followed by a cold dry high isn't my sort of thing.

Agree that at least we got some cold this winter and seen some snow falling so have to be lucky for the small things

prudhoe had a massive shower about 45 mins ago. we have about 2 inches on pavements and looking at radar more to come. so its not the whole region - just the unlucky few. fingers crossed you share the fun

Id say it's the majority that have missed out looking at the radar and the reports.  The lucky few have struck lucky

It's not about been a hill dweller and winning it's about stating a fact that it's intensifying Tyne Valley Northwards
