All quiet here snow wise, had a few heavy snow/hail showers just before dusk that turned everything white again.

These tram lines just missing me currently.

Haway seabreeze where are you...let’s be having you

Currently being snowing moderately for 10-15 minutes but struggling to accumulate and most of the snow from the early hours of this morning has gone.

Getting hit by this right now.  Its snow.  Decent flakes considering the wind.  Intensity 6/10

Temp -0.3c

Showers are aligning more ENE.  Better

Nice snow shower here now, lovely fluffy flakes floating around in the breeze -  making me feel quite poetic

Decent covering here in Gateshead near the QE. Been snowing on and off all day but just had the heaviest shower so far.

Think I will end up decent depth by Wednesday if the showers keep coming.

Just had a quick pop in the Yorkshire thread and there doesn't seem too much excitement in there from their amber warning earlier today.

I am sure the moors have done very well but towns and cities sound similar to what we have experienced , a cm or two here and there.

Some nice ones heading our way.  Nothing compared to the ones in the borders though.  Hope those come south.  They are monsters

Definitely an ENE feed now, showers becoming bigger and heavier.

The ones I circled a little bit ago are still aimed at us. Hopefully see them intensify as they hit land

Generally better for those closer to the coast, further in land no so much but as always these things can be very unpredictable.

Had a walk down the river earlier with my Brother, and we’ve both agreed, that if there’s enough snow, we’re going to snowboard from the top of the golf course, down to the bottom... it’s like one big lazy blue run

chester-le-street by the way.

If we do, we’ll have GoPro footage So come on, drop your load Mr Beastie from the Eastie!!
