Model/radar fatigue kicking in here on the thread. I advise to step away for a few hours.

Anyways as we get into tonight things will start to pick up drastically with more organized streamers forming once the high cloud shifts a little further south. Looking good all in all!

Reasonably heavy showers but nothing seems to be laying!! Can't understand it this is early Feb still the heart of winter for me and it just won't stick.

Think it’s just that we are at the mildest part of the day , it even happened in 2018 here

Looking at sat 24 and it's moving north north east. You can see the stream of clouds underneath it. It's stopping these showers becoming big massive convective showers

Not that I want to make everyone reach for the cyanide, but this just sent from a friend in Kent... In the words of Jim Bowen, let's have a look at what you could've won...

People throwing the towel in way to early here. Air getting more unstable, convergence lines galore later. Colder 850’s also . We been unlucky so far but that is about to change

I hope so, promised the Mrs six inches last night and she was mightily disappointed

Well let's hope it does pick up. I mean driving back from gateshead there and had a snizzle shower which looked more like Daniella Westbrook had opened her purse.

We need more than this like its pitiful lol

The radar heading over Teesside-way does seems to be picking up a bit. Showers have clumped together Dunno what they’ll do when they get inland mind

I can see the side of the moors from where I am and they are covered, Roseberry topping also covered as you would expect.

While its been partly sunny here today it has been grey over there all day, would love to see what Blakey is like, I would expect a good 30/45cm plus up there.

Probably intensify over the hills in the middle of nowhere where there's no one around to enjoy them.

I shall it on and off I'm right near the sea so the wind when it does snow is blowing it all over
