I’m blaming your negative vibes Nick

Seriously though we have a massive window of opportunity so I wouldn’t worry about it

I wouldn't say we have got really decent stuff, we have had showers but nothing major , probably a cm generally , possibly 4cm where it has blown in sides of pavements etc but it is very icy.

First proper snow shower here.  Been hail so far.  Intensity 8/10 so heavy. Drifting

Problem is i dont think we are due any are we? which is a shame. I cant recall Teesside ever being in a streamer.

I think there could be some fun tonight when the sun goes down and these showers keep piling in.

It's not happening for Durham, CLS, Sunderland areas I'm afraid.

Bit rubbish when places in Lancs are getting more snow from an Easterly than Durham. FGS.

Wind direction has changed slightly here, showers coming in more easterly than before when it was a slightly more north easterly, typical as it meant a massive blob that looked destined to hit, skirted by

Anyway, updated fax looks interesting

Can't help but think these accumulations would be better if the wind died down even the heavier showers are through in 5 to 10 minutes followed by sunshine

Nature of the beast really though isnt it? strong flow aides convection and drives the showers inland.

As usual... Morpeth area taking a pasting.  Used to live there and they always do well from an easterly
