Does anyone know how you bring up actual scales on the V8 radar? This is the current dew points, but I'm not sure what each colour represents, same with 850's.

Cheers

That can't take convective snow properly into account.

Thought more snow would have been evident by now to be honest.

Still mostly rain here.

Temp now 2.1°c

Those are as much use as a chocolate teapot.

Yours Sincerely,

I take little notice of those snow depth charts, especially in a showery set up, might as well stick a pin on the map.

Snowing here but just wet snow at the moment, sticking a bit on the car.

Hopefully will see more in the way of heavier dry snow before bedtime.

Think it will become more and more to snow as we head towards midnight and then more into the early hours which will bring the accumulations.

Am I missing something I thought the rain was forecast and it was only meant to start turning to snow later on tonight for most of the region?

Yep, people take models to literally. 850's, 2m temps, always too high for most of the region, slowly dropping now.

P.s gritter has been down our street twice already tonight, always a good sign
