Reports of heavy snow in lowland Manchester and Merseyside with a decent cover already, not sure what is going on at all, must be the intensity of the precipitation there. Here we just have sleet so far, need heavier precipitation.

trying to snow here in prudhoe/stocksfield area!! was heavy rain and then i started to see flakes!

Heavy snow here and starting to settle on cars, this could be a good event for the whole region.

Been snowing here since 6ish and around 3 inches on the ground. Now snowing heavy about 8/10

Big flakes in Gateshead and its starting to settle. Amazing considering how wet it is. Looking at the radar we are in sleet, but defo snow.
