I can’t actually believe the difference from Darlington to Middlesbrough. In terms of snow a huge difference but not in miles. Left darlo at 0.5c got to boro and it’s 2.5c

Just rain, rain and more rain here since last night, obviously was a touch of snow through the night as there is some patches about but in general I just think the slightly milder air has held out in little pockets across the region.

Always seems the same, whenever the weather warnings go out we end up with nothing, no weather warning and we do well!!

Still think that unless we get a NE or E flow then nothing will be happening here and that things will be the same for the next event on Saturday.

Quite dissapointing really, I look up to the hills in front of my house and must be only another 30/50m higher but around 3/5 miles more inland and they are covered again.

Rumour has it that we will get a couple of hours of intense snow from around 4-6pm as the front stalls and wraps around.

Here's hoping after all the dissapointment of 18 hours of rain.

That's what I'm seeing on the radar. Fingers crossed!

There was some precipitation just flown through Chester le street. Was quite sleety. Few big flakes. Could do with the temp dropping slightly if we do get a wrap around

Either way, it increases chances of some white stuff...

I'll get my coat (pun intended, hopefully will need it soon)
