Can't see any sleet here in Durham. Just tiny ice pellets leaving a crunch underfoot.

Finally turning to snow here.

Ha! Just been outside and it’s definitely only freezing rain! 
 

Hang on a minute intensity has sort of prepped up looks like sleet or even light snow!

Newcastle airport reporting freezing rain. Do they have de-icing equipment there?

Flying home from Minneapolis one year, it was -5 and pouring with rain. It took bloody ages to queue up for and then get the aircraft de-iced.
