Do you have the link to it? Bit confused as on the mod thread says upgrades for us in the north.. large snowfalls when southerners seem to be moaning a bit..

After the news from @Day 10not really in the mood however this a weather forum and we move on as i expect he would want us to so on we go

From the Meto update i suspect the HP is going to hang around to the south of the uk hense keeping the south in a milder pattern how far north the battle lines are drawn wont be determined for a bit i would say at the moment South Midlands north in the game but all speculation at the moment.

Stay safe all.

Still looks too me big differences between the GFS and UKMO regarding this front coming down from the north. The UKMO looks like it will be a smooth front coming down giving some PPN but fizzing out whereas the GFS has the front waving and heading southwards slower and perhaps more PPN also.

Weird seeing my area has still got some snow cover and some higher areas have close to nothing

Another set of cracking photos Weather History.

if it’s Scout Moor Wind Farm a couple of miles to the South West of me then it’s one hell of a lens you are using.

you are right about the snow though as the high ground around Rossendale missed out on some of the shower streams which hit lower parts around Manchester and has lost quite a lot of the snow cover it had since.

hopefully top ups will arrive in the coming days although the chances seem to be receding as time goes on.
