Slightest of dusting in wirral. Everything is white, but deoth must be about 1-2mm. If its even measurable

What part of the Wirral do you live?  You must be more southern/central as I've noticed those differences quite acutely when going for short drives last couple of days, amazing differences in small areas.

Pavements and road  have the slightest dusting of something white but I’m not going out to investigate because it looks too slippy for my arthritic feet

Hope so; but currently we're being forecast c7ºC on Thursday here!

I don't wish I'll on the MET but I hope their local forecast for midweek is a complete bust as it stinks.

More snow here overnight too ??

Came by complete surprise as went to bed at midnight and the skies were uber-clear & it was a very hard frost... Although I did see on METO that we were forecast snow early hours; no one else forecasted that...!

Possibly.

It's all down to nowcasting as proved last night at sea level.

Temps look a bit on the up this week and default Atlantic murk  - best bet a week tomorrow? at +213

Deep snow for Preston this morning   Quite a good covering for here at least.

Yes - interesting journey to Whalley roads were largely untreated.

Nice, but you ALWAYS miss out.

That's your third this year isn't it?

Came down a bit heavier about 10 mins ago. Probably a couple of cm out there now. Doesn't look like there's much to follow this band and they are weakening..... unless those ones to the west of Cumbria can make their way down and stay intact.

A few miles north east and we ended up with just a sugar dusting, that is the nature of showers. I think the December 4th fall was the heaviest fall so far this winter.

Reverse Psychology.

We’ve had a few sprinklings this Winter so I’ll  pipe down on the moaning.

A covering overnight here in Audenshaw east Manchester. But not as much as we had on Wednesday night. This is probably about the 7th separate covering this Winter.
