Could be a few more snow showers for them also looking at the radar. Then after that, I suspect winds will come in from the sea and that will be the end of the wintry stuff for coastal areas.

The showers have literally parted around Wirral.

Still either side of Wirral looks good for a dusting or some light cover as temperatures are widely below 0C

Some places could get a few cm out of these showers. But here I could be too far east. Currently clear and chilly @ -6.1C.

-4C at Manchester airport.

There was a map going round showing - 8C in some city centre in the Midlands earlier, looking at -8 to -12C in rural areas easily.

Don't have a temp gauge here but phone says - 3C and that's in a town with some cloud cover and minimal snow cover.

-2.8'c in Buxton currently and rising slightly ahead of the showers from a low of -3.2'c earlier on, it was tempting to head out with the camera for some star-trail snaps at midnight but in this weather the lithium batteries drain away fast.

Apologise can't remove quote on phone.

Snowed here. Missed the actual shower as was on bog  (Part the reason I'm still up) but just looked out window and a good covering of snow where there was concrete half an hour ago, hard to tell if it's still coming down but think it's stopped.

The last shower clipped this part of Oldham and we have a dusting. Looks like more is on the way.

Just got clipped by that shower in Morecambe bay and it was of pure rain, not even a hint of sleet. The Joy's of living by the seaside!

In fairness, it might of been a slightly different story if we were in the main core of it but not to be.

Good luck to any places that do get hit by snow showers, a bit hit and miss but some beefy ones our there.
