That radar just keeps looking better and better

Incoming for you  - what we had an hour ago - intense to say the least for sea level.

Based on radar some pink has apparently moved through here, yet I could count about 3 bits of flurry from the sky..

Its very misty and murky here.

Plenty more showers to our NW but will they all go just to my south, and I'm talking single miles only, very very frustrating!!!

Bit disappointing after a covering early on nothing since, looks like Macclesfield has got more of it just a couple of miles south

It doesn't seem to have hit mums side of town either, Hurdsfield.  I live south side, towards Congleton road.

Don't want to tempt fate but @Joe Bloggs, I think your finger is looking more girthy! Fingers crossed it brings great pleasure to MCR et al

The finger and clump appear to be merging which can only be a good thing.

@TomSE12Hi Tom - I tried to tag you earlier after reading your message but I don't think it worked out. I'm 10 minutes away from the race course. Currently it is snowing quite heavily with quite a bit of ppn on route so I'd certainly keep an eye on whether it will go ahead. We had a real deluge from storm Christoph but it had been dry since until this morning.

Well just woke up again and we have heavy snow. About 1 cm like earlier in the night. Shame I missed the lightning would’ve heard it from Crosby ironically.

My post worked, just as I type it, snow is falling, nothing very heavy but it is coating everything it touches, Clump doesn't look long lasting but its enough for now, hopefully can have a few heavier longer lasting bursts through the morning, a couple of cms is all I want, preferably more!

There's an interesting feature developing Northern Ireland growing in intensity & size, winds veering northwest one to keep an eye on.

Looks like the flow is slightly more westerly now I had to take a cheeky screenshot of the radarimage.thumb.png.5f0750af0de12aa87e4a6f23c006e47f.png Don't often see it - Go Irish Sea Go!

Yes I think Manchester is going to cop it shortly, especially south Manchester I think. Just hope it’s cold enough for the snow to settle.
