I can’t see the energy going any time soon 500 mb temps are only getting colder.

Widnes now! We had 5 mins of heavy stuff that started to stick then it moved away. Hoping to wake up to something a bit more seasonal

Looks like a trough passing at 14:00. That seems to be the peak of convection in the coldest air.
