Fellow Mancunians - I doubt we’ll get any snow until the early hours , maybe even as late as 4 or 5am. (Based on Euro4 anyway)

Yeah, this is a new one again from the metoffice. What exactly is 'wintry rain'? Cold rain?

New word for rain, that might have a few flakes in may be. I think sleet covers it.

Proper coming down, everywhere white no problem. Turning more snowy, great stuff! Here's hoping for the morning.

Oh nice! I'm waiting for the trailing end of that shower here which may bring some hail or snow!

Actually Altrincham is about to get a moderate shower so my comment hasn’t aged well

It’s melting now but nice to see the road a different colour even if just for ten minutes.

In Bromborough wirral we had what looked like rain... but on closer inspection things were covered in slush

Just been out and everything is encased in ice... promising for later

Yes that's what went through here before but didn't leave any covering. The next incoming shower is more promising.

Colder uppers set to arrive about 7am so it bodes well for the morning, it's certainly our best chance so far.
