Had quite good/heavy snowfall for a short while, fell on frozen ground and snow remnants from yesterday. It’s getting lighter but something tells me it won’t be the last we shall see over the next 24hrs...

The following clips are not of the best quality as they were taken on my phone, but should provide some ‘lamppost watching’ for those still waiting to see some white stuff.

These types of setups with showers barrelling in from the Irish Sea and intensifying over land were always my favourite scenario when I lived East of Manchester. They delivered the goods so many times. Enjoy!

Next batch north Blackpool. On their current angle probably going under me and hitting Bolton.

Cheers!

Yep I’m in my element right now!

Heavy snow coming down again and the radar looks good for Manchester - notice how the showers expand and if we’re really lucky they merge with developing ones off the Irish Sea.

Might not last very long this morning but we are in a very lucky position.

Snow has stopped but A lovely crunchy covering here in S Cheshire. Manchester looks well placed + some beefier looking showers seem to be building in the Irish Sea that hopefully will push their way in land. A bit hit and miss but if you catch one it’ll give a covering ❄️☃️

... makes a change for something being made accountable to something other than Brexit or COVID...... what times we are living at the moment.

Hope everyone takes a minute out for themselves and dare to be taken up with the thoughts of something other than ..... have a nice day....
