I’m under orange and red echos but nothing really falling from the sky. How odd.

Something needs to change rapidly for an orange snow warning!

Still pretty much dry as a bone here. Snow to my north, rain to my east.

Unbelievable.

Is it sleety wet snow? It looks like it going by the camera.

Ice pellets here which I thought means that game over more or less but given the reports from Liverpool and Blackpool then there is some hope.

Yeah it’s not that heavy either so no chance of it covering anything here.

The only thing is, the snow warning only starts at 3am.

Thanks, I'd rather it did something substantial being slap bang under the red echos as per radar lol.

Edit. It is snowing now. The odd flake blowing about so fingers & toes crossed for a good dumping by morn.

I can hear ice pellets hitting the window however it's mixed in with snow which is now beginning to settle here

Looking at the webcam, it seems to come in bursts in terms of intensity but your right, it only looks moderate.

Of course if the air and ground did get cold enough, it will settle even at moderate intensity, sadly things are getting milder so it's unlikely.

Its a proper tease this.. keeps looking like its changing to heavy snow, before changing back to rain.

Looks like one of those occasions where even places nearby lower down than me are getting snow. Possibly due to topography of the area?

Not much snow. Just tiny ice pellets and the odd flake. Certainly not rain but nothing notable.
