Started again heavy, it’s about 80% snow 20% graupel which makes  an interesting consistency but I like it, feels like it might last longer.

We just need them to keep merging. Showers can’t allow that sun out today or it’ll make short work of it

I'm not the only big kid snow nutter then, it's good we all understand each other in here.

Yes plenty of us I imagine! The shower is now dying here, quite long lasting nearly an hour, a couple more of these heavier in nature and we should see our heaviest snowfall of the season, max so far just 2 cms, we just seem to miss out all the time..

Radars  looking excellent for the day - lots of showers packing in on a cold NW flow - someone going to get hammered.

Radar keeps predicting a halt to the snow, but it has now got heavier. Could be fun taking a relative for a covid jab this morning.

Are you using the predictive radar? It doesn’t take into account convection/new showers. Just the existing ones that it has picked up on. Useless feature unless it has some sort of model input, which the NW one doesn’t.

I was just looking and do not use it as such. I prefer my eyes and the view from the window.

Virtually all melted here, hope for something later no point in walking on wet concrete.

These Irish Sea showers have a cool tendency to expand overhead as they meet the land, so your eyes are your best friend in this setup
