Snowed moderately to heavy for about 5 mins. Now we have occasional flakes falling.

Agree with @Dkeane3 that overnight activity has been a bit disappointing but a fair few of the models didn’t show things kicking off until this morning. 
 

This band of showers coming in now should hit us pretty easily and the temp has dropped. Fingers crossed for snow.

If it doesn’t disappear should have slim band of snow showers at around 9am following the radar, ones actually crossing the Merseyside area

Don’t think I’ll watch the radar tomorrow as a big frontal snow band sweeps all the country.

You missed the heavy snow showers during the night?

That shower over IoM looks like it heading straight for the Liverpool region.

Yes, that heavy shower was brief.  No snowfall at all at the moment.  Temp in the car is 0.5.  Snow just wiped easily off the car, no ice to scrape.
