Excellent heavy snow, the heaviest I’ve seen for a couple of years turning everything white. Of course I had to go for a walk in it

Heavy snow here in the south of the region, most unexpected after all the rain and fairly mild weather during the day.

Reports of snow in parbold but we hardly ever get any as we are very near the coast

Too far West in Chorley. Missed the heavy stuff and just got a slushy dusting

More annoying that initially they're was loads heading that general direction and then sudden death of all significant precip.

Like most of us...just been for a weirdo walk by myself...foooooking STUNNING!! Never seen it so heavy... Roads covered, main bank road must be shut as it was impassable as I walked up there.  Interesting to see the torrents of water still flooding down the side as I walked up...but back down it had literally stopped...so must have dropped below 0c here.

Just sleet still, fells look like they are having quite a bit of snow, unless we see something heavier I doubt we will see anything at low levels here.. once again, lost count number of times we have been dealt a poor hand, there are better prospects through rest of week, and my attention is turning to Monday into Tuesday frontal feature from the SW stalling into cold air - could be a significant snow event, long way off.
