@Chris.RYou've been bob on with this transition to snow mate. They are big, heavy flakes here now. I wonder if we can get dps down enough for it to settle.

This looks like being an interesting evening. Temp now at 2.5c down from 3.7c at 7pm. An enormous amount of precipitation still to come to help with any cooling. Unfortunately that adds to the 42mm since midnight so not good and this about to hit us.

It will as long as precip remains heavy.

8:15 for you transition to full snow. After 8:45 could start to settle.

still rain-sleet with some flakes of snow. Not full snow yet... It will happen but it's not yet.

The area was on a knifedge with flooding alerts before this torrential spell of rain hit.  I think some areas may have crossed over the precipice.  Hope they get through the night ok.
