Just looked out snowing light/moderately but nothing on radar... hoping the precipitation up north buries everyone

Looking at the radar if I drove to the other end of the City it would be probably snowing heavy, however I think I'm going to miss the action

According to the radar my location should be in the firing line for some ppn but I am VERY sceptical - but a few hours of even moderate snowfall at this time of night should give a cm or 2 by morning.

When the core of the precip arrives in the morning some precip will make it over.

You are correct. Latest projections are light to moderate wet snow giving 0.5cm in Manchester.

Latest hi res also prevents it from sinking south into the Midlands instead stalling it over our areas. Good for the Pennines.

Met Office banishes the precip south of Crosby and has it missing Manchester, Cheshire, etc..
