Snowing again here

Nothing here except a few bits of sleet and I don’t think I’m that far from you. So frustrating.

It builds intensity just before hitting meB461CA0A-4EE8-4A24-BBB9-A6FADA3F66A4.thumb.png.4939da769eb252329bb3db78931781d1.png

Unusually, i had the same amount as Alphin pike had this morning, a dusting in Manchester City Centre, wished i was back in Saddleworth though and the Granby open!

Ah the granby! It’s been quiet for so long now.

Moderate  sleet now, more rain than snow. Will be better when the colder air comes in later.

This is the decaying front the main action is early hours onwards the PPN from this front will alternate between sleet and snow depending on intensity.

Moderate snow now! Very still here, lovely watching the flakes drifting down slowly. Settling and not melting on impact.

Snow eased off as soon as it got going. Bodes well for later though. Hopefully means we are on the right side of marginal.

Looks like a more decent wedge of precipitation incoming within the next hour or so after the thin slither that just went through so will be interesting to see what it can deliver.

Going to move to Newton-Le-Willows next year, this isn’t far enough inland.

Another dusting here.... Really nothing spectacular. I genuinely wonder when I will ever see over 1cm of snow. It’s been over ten years now. For some reason this location cannot get decent depths it’s so frustrating.

Typically we now have big snowflakes and heavy but about 10 mins left from the front.. only now is sticking on all surfaces.. this could have been a decent event, alas far too light. Await this eve and tonight.
