I don't think today's snow will melt pretty fast. I think its close enough to be an Ice Day.

Even the Met Offices show top temp of 0C here.

Its the weird radar returns seem to be arching now, is a low pressure trying to develop? Anycase feather snowy falling here.

Blue skies here as well, but no snow....yet!

Quick change of focus - Rain Lady, were you the contributor who was reporting whether 2020 would be your wettest ever (in 50 years)? What was the result? Did we beat 2000? My guess is that we just fell short. Apologies if it was not you, but with the present level of contributions on the white stuff, I'd rather not have to look back over copious number of pages for the last report!

That would be brilliant. A very unique setup if so. Energy is developing way south of the main stuff. Could be suggestive of it. Imagine it. The day the forecasters all screwed up. A la 2010

Snow started here got heavy for a minute now lighter again. Nothing marginal about it proper snow. 2.2°C.

The view I have of Kerridge Ridge above you is no longer visible, also the hills NE towards Buxton have noe been blotted out, all under pink echoes on the radar, nothing happening Macc town centre yet.
