Sky is now looking very ominous to my NNE.

0C/0C at the Airport. Feels cold enough and radar looks good.

Can you work out where is everything going? It looks to me that the thinnest area of the preciptation band is heading towards Greater Manchester area and where's that great blob over North Yorks Moor heading?

Off for a big walk...by the time I come back I want to hear the whole region has been submerged in a covering of the good stuff.

.....don’t leave the road ....!

According to radar it will snow quite a while. Slow/stall systems are the best!!

no, it’s quite difficult to work it out. Wouldn’t like to say.

There is a bit of a gap to the NE of Manchester which is unfortunate. East Merseyside should do well, and it gets heavier again further east, the Peak District likely to get clobbered.

can’t be greedy I guess!

It really doesn’t feel cold enough to snow. I’m stood waiting for a Covid rapid test and I’m not cold.

Ground still frozen away from the sun. Maybe we can sneak a temp drop in before it clouds over..

You still near Runcorn? Nearly 2 degrees in Knowsley. Not fancying my chances

Bit of a kick In the balls but never mind. Maybe the stuff behind might hit us dead on. Typical!

As I mention on previous post should be 2 bands one about 2pm and the other one 3.30 to hit Mcr area.. the one to follow up is the later one.. no gaps there  RainToday pro subscription looks quite accurate

I think it is, has been looking that way for a while, so not expecting much but no compiants at least not from me considering we have had snow on the ground here since 28th December.  Hope to see at least some falling snow.
