We were to far inland to get an invite to this party so just a dusting here but enough to cover the cars again and a bit of a top up for the few cm still on the ground.

It's like it's moving south? The instability?

Looks like the showers to the north are taking a more easterly track. Might be game on for us in east Lancs and north east GM with those currently over Morecambe Bay.

@Joe Snow  That latest shower might clip Sandbach? Unless it expands a bit I think it will miss me but Sandbach looks in it's sight.

Sky to the west looks very dark so heres hoping. South Manchester looking the sweet spot currently. One to watch is that heavier burst of precipitation over Merseyside moving south east.

Just been out. It’s actually a bit icy and not dry, fluffy stuff. Just the right side of marginal.

On the latest frame that blob looks to be expanding slightly west too, so might get a few flakes. Just hoping it gets here while it's still below freezing. I have a dusting from that shower that you got, but like I said I was on the edge of it. Enough to cover the melted patches.

It has been sleet here for the last 5 minutes, hoping it stops now!

I guess with the day light I have moved into the wrong side of marginal.

Such a shame, it is a winter wonderland out there.

This shower is going to miss me to the south, shame! Might just catch the northern edge.

Next one is missing me to the N.

I think the edges and lighter stuff is a little sleety but I am one of the lowest points

It’s really hard to tell. The showers are so slow moving, looking at the latest frame I think I might catch the northern edge of this one but Altrincham and sale are best placed.

Yes the Bolton one may miss me to the north

Stunning and I can feel the excitement in your camera work. Lovely stuff.

Looks like the next batch is going to be a bullseye for Bolton too
