According to my weather station(otherwise know as the garden table) we have about an inch here in amber Lincoln.

Nothing spectacular as of yet, heavier bursts that don’t last long. Hoping it’s going to up it’s game as the day goes on. My beer order has arrived safely so it can now crack on.

A dusting here currently and were in a nice gap between the showers, radar is filling out behind that gap though, let's see what the day brings. Certainly don't think we'll be comparing this one to 2010.

There are police reports of trouble on the horncastle to Louth road, A15 between Lincoln and sleaford and many of the routes to the north of Boston inc partney. All this and it’s the start of a increasingly worsening day according to weather reports.

LO

I'm worried about getting to my new job tomorrow at Brookenby. no major roads to it.

Hardly anything just south of Boston not even a full dusting

Very disappointing i have to say, sun poking out from behind the clouds, wind has dropped a touch, a dry cold day ahead.

Meto might need to extend the Amber warning area north by about 10-20 miles.  I’d say heading to Barnsley!

I dont wanna put you in a bad mood but i think these will hit doncaster and go further south. Its what the showers have been doing all morning along the convergence zone.

I hope not tho! Id like to share with you!

Hopefully your get northern edge and me southern!!

On second opinion actually think you may be right!!

Go barnsley!!

The showers between Scarborough and Bridlington are heavy and look to be heading towards West Yorkshire. Hopefully they maintain their intensity!

Just a light covering of ice pellets here this morning so far.

That was a short day anyway got to Newark on the A1 work rings and bins the day saw a snow plough/gritter combo patrolling though in a heavier burst the outside lane rapidly covered, at least I can radar watch now instead of being stuck on the M11 in theory working up at Crossgates/Shadwell area.
