Woke up for a peep. Half expected a couple of inches but just a dusting. No intense streamer yet ? Is it coming soon?

Icon shows snow depths going from 2 cm to 8cm between 5am and 9am. Looks like the heavier snow is due in later in the morning

Ok ??

No covering here, the only positive is that the flakes blowing in the wind are big now, rather than the microscopic efforts of yesterday. There looks to be a good line of showers from Bridlington through just south of York heading this way but they seem to fizzle a bit as they get near. The automated forecasts are good but the lining up into streamers seem to be happening, which is bad for West Yorks (good for South Yorks). If we get 5cm out of this today, we will have over-performed.

A nice little dusting here. Hoping the wash streamer picks up in intensity like further north soon

Scott is this organised streamer a bust mate tia

Its looking likely looking at the latest models quite possibly looks like one branch goes through leeds one through lincoln a dry gap south yorkshire until 5am while 7am then a large dry gap till 11am and the most organised stream then mid day till 7pm mate. The level if convection is no where near what was predicted!
