Is the build of activity affecting the south east of UK cutting back on shower build up in our area???

I'm not seeing any streamer at this point on radar, just a load of showers? And long may that continue as West Yorkshire simply doesn't get streamers unless it's an almost direct easterly flow. Much prefer the widespread distribution that's looking to set up at the moment!

Things dont get heavier until 2am onwards.

Showers will band and intensify betweem 2am and 5am

Yeah I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed for shower infill as we saw in March 2018.

As a reminder, we went from this...

...in just a few hours. With any luck this will happen again and deliver snow more widely instead of in a narrow area.

How’s it looking for West Yorkshire Scott bbc and met seem to have upgraded the snow chances now from 2am onwards for most of the day now ?
