Just wondered what everyone is doing in preparation for the snow/cold event?

I usually stick a table or chair outside in garden to measure the daily snowfall amounts, somewhere nice and open to the easterly wind so its accurate.

My CCTV (weather cam) is going to get a wipe and a check over today, along with my weather station.

I still think we need this rain needs to bu**er off its horrendous out there. I can see a slushy mess out of this personally. Why can it never be straight forwards like it used to be in the 70's I'll never forget those halcyon times as a kid.

The rain should turn to snow this evening and then will freeze, any snow showers this week will accumulate and not thaw until fri/sat....hopefully

Well its turned a bit grim here in Hull, because of the weather I mean. I cant see us getting anything meaningful this close to the coast later on this evening. Hoping for a bit of a dry slot before any snow showers overnight really.
