That's him. Frightened to death to say it as it is. Hang on look north's on

I don’t mind Paul, as he does like snow.  Donkeys years ago the kids bought me a book he wrote about severe winter weather with the late great Ian McCaskill!

Got that too. Bought it in the snow less winter era. Fantastic read and says will this sort of weather ever be seen again. Then came 2010,2013 and 2018. Nice to know we can still get cold weather.

Lol. I've got the same book also. I've got a soft spot for Paul. He's a Keighley lad!

I'm going to study ECMWF myself rather than have to go through the drama of every frame being dissected by the doom brigade.

It will it won't its going to it's not.....

Well to me ecm looks like the lows ready to send energy south east and set up an easterly but it could be teeth pullingly long

They did a talk in Sheffield, Michelle Fish, Ian Mcaskill and Paul got the book signed. Paul also interviewed by Mother over the Sheffield Gale but she got stage fright so came across badly on TV .

Finally a move just needs to sink and fill. Thinking it will.

Well Countryfile forecast was a right let down, if it's correct all we've got to look forward too is a few hours of Snow before it turns milder right up to end of week.

ARPEGE 12z is MENTAL.

The intense energy is sliding slowly from Sheffield Barnsley into Leeds as the low is spinning.

4-5hours of tissue paper snow fall!

Just had a quick look at radar and the area of light Sleet and Snow towards our South East seems to be moving North Westwards now when it earlier looked to be going other way.

EC ENS mean brings in the easterly as early as Friday showing that the det run is once an outlier with regards to how far north the low goes.

Here's the EC pressure ensembles for Malton showing it being out of kilter with the rest of its suite, especially in the mid range.
