Had eased off a bit but now coming a bit heavier.  Probably 2-3cm already!  Looking at the precip over North Yorks coast looks like that might just miss South Yorks as it definitely has some westward movement.

Easing off here now, but forecast is for snow well into the evening, so always a chance more will develop or move in

Finally arrived now snowing heavily.  Radar suggests it won't last more than hour or so. The rest looks like it will pass to the north and west of us.

Just stopped Snowing here at Shafton, Barnsley, on the edge of South/West Yorkshire  250ft asl.

Yes we had about an hour of light to moderate snow just now. Left a thin covering here.

North Leeds must be getting battered right now! Despite being in one of the worst spots in west/south Yorkshire today, I've seen some good falling snow, less than a cm extra accumulation but here's hoping for much more over the next week and beyond!

Yes! Hammering it down here, we are just N enough. Biggest flakes I have seen in a long time.
