Still coming down in Rotherham, should be an interesting drive to work in Ecclesfield at half 5 in morning.

Our school will be doing exclusively remote learning tomorrow as our cleaners couldn't come in, due to the snow, to fully clean the school in prep for tomorrow's key workers. Given the location of the school as well there will be a significant ice risk and I'm not sure that some staff would make it in that early tbh. I'll still be working, but in joggers in the comfort of my room, a sneaky Netweather tab and TWO tab open and the heating cranked up. Luvvly jubbly!

Half of afternoon shift didn't turn up today, management weren't happy and tried to get us on days to work over.

Absolutely not.

Wow! More than I expected not stopped all day! Exceeded my expectations. Thick of it probably a good 10 to 15cm bit more in deeper bits as well! Also gfs 12z ensembles are sniffing out a very cold and snowy pattern and seems to have a lot more support. Trends slowly getting better at short notice after a wobble, usually how these events go. Think we could be in for some big surprises guys!

Some great pictures. I really do miss living near Sheffield. The SE is rubbish for snow! We'll be opening an office Leeds and so I'll be trying to persuade my London born and bred parter to move north. If I succeed I'll be asking this thread the best part of Leeds for snow...

Okay got timing out by 8 hours. Hmmm. Anyone know what the soundings were at around 8 ?

Anyway too old these days to dig my other neighbours car out. He's got three children one in the late teen another around twenty so they can shift the stuff.

Still snowing so for the first time since April 2018 I will some Snow to measure when I do the weather figures.
