Guess it's a case of wait and see.

One thing for sure is that this coming set up is different to what we would see produced earlier in winter, we don't have to look to see what is coming off the sea because we should get snow showers developing over land this time of year, very cold air and the warm sun could produce some towering clouds by mid afternoon.

On a NNW flow we would probably end up completely dry around here if it was January.

Got down to -1.3c last night but it's glorious out there now. Already 14c so higher than meto prediction for here already! ☀️

Hard to believe the change coming for tomorrow! ❄️

Couldn't believe it got down to -1.7c 6am this morning. Next 3 nights will be -2c. Bet the lake behind our house might ice over by Wednesday

Moderate snow 'falling' right now. I say falling but it is almost horizontal in the wind. Not laying at my low (30m) elevation, but I can't imagine it off laying up in to of the hills around town. Tempted to venture out and check it out in the car

Lightly snowing here, only flurrying though but a bit of heavier stuff to the north.

We are currently having the odd heavy hail shower with light snow in between, good spring northerly weather! Winds going well up here, but it was worse at times yesterday.

Just a light covering of snow on the roofs and grass when we got up, but wind is gale force.

Heavy snow and a fair covering in South Sheffield (200m). Nort that I welcome it at this time of year!

Brief heavy snow giving a slight covering and just luck we got hit by an active part of the front. Overdue for that now just the odd flake drifting down.

Slightest dusting here this morning on the roofs and grass, strong biting wind with bright sunshine now,

Just a dusting hear mostly now gone. A low -0.9C following on from a high of 14.2C yesterday.

Went for a walk round Ecclesall woods this morning. Not much on the moors this morning strange dropping back into Sheffield too see some Snow remaining in the fields. So I guess we were lucky to get any at all

Oh dear a pretty poor effort IMBY, there were a couple of flakes dusting the top of the wheelie bin from the 5am flurry and that's it. The most surprising thing for me is that we have gone from 20 degrees on Wednesday to the icy cold today without any measurable rain, would have expected a squally cold front with such a change in temperature. I just want the warmth back now!

An inch or so here first thing the main feature was hideous wind chill with gusts close to 50mph and -2C until after 10am.
Conditions have eased this afternoon it just reached 4C but still some snow remaining in shade.

Quite a pleasant day out today imby, obviously cold in the strong wind, but when sheltered you could feel the warmth of the sun, manged to get garden path layed, so constructive day,

Heavy snow shower in Bempton, whipped along by a strong wind almost horizontal past our solitary street light

Just walked the dog round the village, a few flakes blowing about in the wind and a thin covering on cars, nothing spectacular, chilly but winter coat not required, see what the morning brings,

Yeah we've just had a few flakes here. Radar looks good for this afternoon.

Hope it keeps up! ❄️

Let's hope we all get a temporary covering from these showers! April is always fat flakes but this spell will be so different with powder snow
