I think the lack of posts in the last hour or so says it all .....

Must have gone through about 200 pages in past couple of weeks, we'll be lucky to get through half a dozen by weekend.

Showing snow around hull on radar but nothing falling here anyone near by having any?

Could be virga. The air is so dry and cold that the radar could be seeing it fall but it evaporates before it reaches the ground

That will be the lightest blue on radar which is showing over Rotherham now, might see odd flake but that's your lot.

Thanks @Winter Cold is there anymore snow chances do you think that low in the North Sea? Tomorrow and Friday?

Not much chance of anything significant I don't think. We've got high pressure building in from the NE overnight and tomorrow so showers will die out later. Tomorrow is looking crisp but sunny, so a nice winters day really.

The next snow chance could be over the weekend, but the forecast is very uncertain with some models showing snow coming in but others not.

Had several heavy snow showers in Boston over the last couple hours adding to the cover we already have, roads all completely covered too. Didn’t expect any tonight so a nice surprise

Can confirm in Kirton 5 miles up the road, it’s “puthering” down... anywhere that’s had snow melt completely covered again and back to a winter wonderland scene, monday was a slow start but ever since it’s really picked up and been excellent, speaking to the mrs who is in Spalding at the minute she says they have had heavy snow this evening aswel

Looks like spalding is about to get a very heavy shower soon, looking out to the North Sea looks like we might get a couple more over the next few hours around south Lincs

It's def developing to the east of the pennies, you could get a good covering from this if it develops further

Just starting to see the odd flake falling.

Got a good covering from the shower earlier that passed over me around 16.55

Enjoyed a long day at work visiting sites, really demonstrated how hit and miss the snow was over these last few days, it really seemed literally just a mile or two and from grey to white in snow terms, Doncaster, Tankersley, York, knaresborough and finally Skipton all different, sad to see sublimation was in effect, as it certainly wasn't warm today. took the opportunity to get a couple of snaps near Skipton

GFSP now going for 2 snow events next week, the first on Monday followed by a less cold day on Tuesday with a rain to snow event on Wednesday leading to significant accumulations.  Of course we all know how accurate these were this week, so large pinch of salt required!
