A couple of moderate showers in last few hours, so now have a covering (that’s a step up from a dusting )!!

Showers currently over land are losing intensity, but those off the coast seem to be a heavier.  Maybe these will maintain intensity by the time they arrive here!  Specifically looking at the area circled!

I know weather forecasting isn’t an exact science in any way, but the forecasts for this period so far have been way over the top. The Euro 4 for yesterday was supposed to give us this elongated streamer with copious amounts of snow. 5mm we got. Then the amber warning from the met!

If it was a private business, surely they’d be fired for being so wrong?

In the gap now so no showers for a good while.  They are losing intensity as they come inland anyway.

I take it this info is from apps?  They give a general idea but can be way out at times with symbols they put on them.

You can't beat following the radar for accuracy when you're just wanting to know next hour or two.

Yeah it is. Well, BBC app and met office website anyway....

Ha ha - I did use one of their rulers, it said 2ft!

Just down Scawby Brook - really coming down heavy now.

Started 11ish last night, been shiowers ever since. Some snow stuck, some less so with the sun. Must be in a good spot

I guesss Scunny's done OK?
