Looks like I'm in that gap of nothingness . Snow to the north of me, snow to the south here I am stuck in the middle with nowt

2 streams of showers evident on radar and satellite.  Maybe a closing of the gap on the satellite on the eastern extent of those streams.  Maybe some crumbs for those of us in the gap for later?

Please track like this. Look like the place to be. Grenoside/Foxhill. Edit - Rotherham is going to get hammered.

Just missed here and seems the train is going to hit south of here,i am hopeful them between Hornsea and Withernsea will hit here later as that has a slight buckle north.

Well I'm in the perfect spot looking at the radar here in Ecclesfield so I'll report how I get on. 

Some bigger flakes just starting and, now we're back below freezing and the sun's gone nearly down, it is laying on the roads again.

Currently watching the Sheffield streamer pass about 1/2 mile away. A very frustrating experience. Hopefully it'll get a bit wider!

Yes - in the region of 7 to 8 cm on the higher west side of Sheffield. More where there has been drifting. 
It’s just started snowing again and looks promising in the next couple of hours.
