Sun's out, guns outchrist what an anti climax. Radar looks lightweight and our half a centre metre is vanishing in the sun. Snow till midnight?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️

Yep suns trying to come out here too, temp just shot up from 0.5 to 1.0.

Looks like we have a Wash streamer on the radar.

The snow that’s falling here is really struggling to settle so I wouldn’t worry about it. None of you are missing out on anything.

Radar coverage more than 20-30 miles off the coast is quite poor but on the euro radar you can see the streamer off Norway heading this way. Its quite wide too which is positive!

If BBC app is correct which it possibly isn't, temperature drops to -1 by 3pm dropping further overnight.

I believe it only dropped just below freezing point overnight.

I'm confident that any thawing will stop by late afternoon leading to a sub zero night helping to put some frost into ground.

The switch in wind direction is sending showers over the pennines now but also probably warming things a little off a warmer part of the north sea.

Sea temperatures may still he quite high.

Only thinking this due to a burst of convection since going direct easterly

I'm looking more towards this evening now. If we can get some streamers going with no thawing some places are going to get buried. Its safe to say that this morning up to now has been a letdown.

Absolute farce lol. I wasn't expecting 2010 but my cm has nearly gone. Only in this country with -11 uppers

Only got 24hrs or so for the chance of something decent imo.

Not too bad here in Leeds 16. Not a lot but it's settling.
