Blizzard again here for the minute!

It's so up and down. Don't think we've seen a proper streamer anywhere yet. Radar is all lumpy and defined showers, rather than a persistent full period of snow in an area as I understand them.

Here in Louth we've had what might best be described as an 'enhanced dusting' - maybe half an inch, but you don't have to go too far to our west to find bigger totals. The wind has dropped off but it's still breezy - there are some grim road conditions in the Wolds by all accounts.

Heading South West towards Sheff

Actually that stuff is due east.

Think wind direction is becoming more easterly now

Nobody can get near as its very early days it ends 1am tonight with intensity up and down all day

I like your optimism mate, but for north lincs I think last night and early this AM was our chance

Think we are too North of that Amber warning ⚠️

I blame myself

I warned my family of snowmagedon

I always think a bit of blue sky helps keep the temperature down, especially later on in day and evening.

Go on to the euro4 run and run it back its not your only chance mate its relentless north and south till 1m. 6-10pm is the best period of the day for everyone

Lincolnshire Police reporting that that the A158 between Horncastle and Partney and the A153 between Louth and Horncastle are closed because of drifting snow, and the A157 between Wragby and Louth is passable by 4WD vehicles only.

Looking at the latest radar it looks like mid Lincs is in a more quiet zone (which is at elevation) and the southern part of the county (the Wash SE wards and flat) is busy with heavy snow showers. Ironic that down here in the fenland  we getting more than the wolds very strange.

I have nothing here either at kendray. Just same as last night, dandruff blowing around. Massive letdown!
