We've got about a 1cm covering here. Looks a bit patchy on the radar but I think we'll be in line for a bit more off and on. We've been very lucky with the snow so far this Winter so I'm feeling quite relaxed about this one.

Just watched a 70-plate BMW go down my thawing road at 5mph. I swear there's nothing funnier

Saw something similar in the snow we had in Jan.  5-series on a slight incline back wheels spinning in about an inch of snow.  I went past him in the middle of the road in about 4 inch of snow and I’m sure I could hear my AWD XC60 laugh as we passed!

Showers towards scarborough look good for here. Streamers overrated anyway. Got to be very lucky to get under one, heavy showers providing you can get a good run of them deliver just as well in my experience!

I thought winds were ment to be Easterly? Everything seems to be coming from North East.

About an inch here in Dunholme, Lincolnshire. On and off light showers, but what comes down sticks!

I think the winds have a slight NE direction to them. According to the windy app anyway

But in all honesty nothing this low

Did anywhere in the region get anywhere near the forecast or predictions?

Wind, what wind? It’s as calm as anything here now. Showers likely to fall over the sea at this rate lol

Theres the rest of the day but i think youll struggle now mate.

Rotherham is the eastern n southern extent. Areaa like Rotherham Chesterfield Derby later Nottingham for these amounts now

You should see 5-10 by 12 o clock tonight tho

Things pick up 6-10 later where you might get some help but overall its a bit of a bust for north sheff in particular
