I've been awake since about 3.30. There was nothing on the path at that time. Just been to make a brew and now the path is white, and very fine snow is blowing around in the wind. You an barely see / feel it though. I'm West Yorks, near the border of Lancs

Was always looking like south Yorkshire favoured as soon as streamers got mentioned... if Leeds gets anywhere near 5cm it will be a miracle now, unless something shows up for tomorrow!

Yeah they seem to stick to south yorkshire like glue the streamers and tuesday looks good for north east england and south east england now. Looks poor for yorkshire apart for 3-5 hours in south yorkshire n derbyshire.

Wednesday showers stay at the coast

Whilst its clear to see where the convergence line is on the radar there is plenty of convection all the way down the east coast.

Further north towards Scarborough, Whitby, Brid etc the showers are more spaced out but look much heavier, the type that would keep their intensity as they head inland.

Meanwhile its chucking it down with snow here.

Can't say I'm too impressed so far to be honest, though hoping for better during today. Plenty of showers rattling through but they are quite weedy and have only left a dusting. I feel they need to beef up, if any meaningful accumulations are to be seen.

Small dusting here which is nice to see, was expecting or hoping these showers would be a bit more lively at this point onwards.

Hopefully can catch some heavier showers at some point as there seems to be a bit of a lull at the moment going by the radar and what’s heading in my direction.

Can we expect things to pick up a bit through this morning?
I went to bed just after 1am and there was organised bands of showers piling in but now it’s looking scarce.

I’d say we have at best 1cm on the ground here at the moment..

The run is an upgrade for all of yorkshire from 12 until midnight east west south and north yorkshire all receive heavy snow.

Looks like the main meal is after dinner time

feeling less confident about barnsley today

Run the new euro4 run mate.

You get battered after 12pm all the way to the night.

Missed morning snow but shower potential is way higher later

Looks like we have had about 3 to 4 cm here. ( nodded off )

It's still banging it down and it's coming in sideways almost. Just noticed the Amber warning as well for this area from 6am until 2pm. Reading through here it's been hit and miss.

Also the met office has issued the warning but looks sporadic moving forwards with patchy showers more than an organised band. Hoping for some more organisation moving forwards but judging by other comments I don't think we are doing bad as it stands.
