It's looking great for linconshire/ south yorkshire and parts of east yorkshire.

I am starting to worry for west yorkshire and western parts of north yorkshire, apart from tomorrow models are showing not too much snow for our parts of yorkshire now.

Snowing here just up the road here in South Kyme very fine stuff but i suppose you could class that as a base.

I caught forecast after last nights news because I recorded Match of the day, it said Snow showers at first this week then mostly dry and cold for rest of week.

I'm guessing they'll go with this on Country File. 

 

It will still be wrong but at least they shouldn't go for mild South Westerlies which they love so much.

Latest fax chart has convergence zone further south as well. Could be a lot of snow in this area!

 

I think the further south the better now, give more chance of catching showers from the north east, as there will be a small dry zone just north of this convergence zone..

Yes, not too good for us up here. Be lucky to have a few cm in the ground unless something untoward happens.

Yep would have been nice to have the charts on our side, but unfortunately their not.

But, something could still pop up out the blue and deliver the goods, so I'm not writing it off just yet.

Hmmm, that’s a lot further south!  That isn’t great for the more northern parts of South Yorkshire, West and North Yorks.  No guarantee they’ve got it correct but slightly concerning, and definitely against the models. Not too much longer to wait to see which is right though!

Went for a great walk today around 19km

plenty of flooding evidence from yesterday 

cold wind and fine snow most of the walk

Yep, agreed and the fact it’s against all the models we can see is a bit odd.  

Exeter can either see something different on their models or the guy who put it together didn’t have his specs on and mistook the Wash for the Humber!
