Wet snow now in Redbrook, Barnsley.  As can be seen from the CCTV the new snow is arriving before the old pile of snow from Tuesday has completely gone from the lawn!

Yes me too in hornsea. We really ought to move away from the coast if we love snow so much ... or spend our winters in the Alps

Just very wet sleet here, but at least it's changing for many. If the cold air gets in with all this heavy stuff around i think we will see a decent covering tonight

Propper snowing here, with no sleet mix.  Starting to settle where there is'nt tons of water.  Wish it was landing on a frosty base but you cant have everything.  Next few days look like fun.

Heavy rain here. Kinda worried about ice before snow hits.

My hubby’s on nights tonight and this is all I’ve been going on to him about all week he keeps asking me when it’s going to snow and I’m like ‘won’t be long!

This system is producing a lowering of the snow line from cold air injection and precipitation cooling.

Where abouts is this happening? Thanks
